Augmented Reality Burger Menu

The idea was to create an Augmented Reality (AR) menu that would allow users to easily select their favourite food. This involved creating a detailed 3D model of a burger and using Unity and Zapworks to add AR features. Finally, I designed a menu that I used as a tracker.

Development Process:

I started by creating a detailed 3D model of the burger to make it look realistic and appealing to users. Most of the textures are procedurally created in Blender, then baked into textures for use in Unity.
In Unity, I used the Zapworks SDK to add AR functionality to the menu, allowing users to interact with the virtual food in real time.

Conclusion:

Creating an AR menu for food selection offers exciting possibilities, but it’s important to address challenges such as project size and platform limitations. If the project gets too big, it will slow down the experiences, leading to a poor user experience. For future projects, it’s better to carefully plan and optimize to provide a good user experience.
